Great North Run 2025

Take part in one of the biggest half-marathons in the world and raise money for the EY Foundation!

Join 60,000 runners in Newcastle who will be taking on this annual run, whilst raising vital funds to help support young people from low-income backgrounds into work.

About the challenge

Setting off from Newcastle, you will cover 21km across the Tyne Bridge and the River Tyne, through Gateshead and on to South Shields. You'll then be cheered on by thousands of supporters, with live music en-route  to help you over the finish line.

During your ticket purchase for your run, you will also be able to create an Enthuse fundraising page**.

Once you have purchased your tickets via Enthuse, your information will then be shared with The EY Foundation who will send you an invitation on behalf of  the Great North Run to complete their event registration. You must complete registration via the invitation link you receive to sign-up as a runner with EY Foundation. Therefore, it is important you give the correct and relevant email.
