Alongside headline figures and programme highlights, we dive into the actions we’ve taken to drive systemic change, in line with our ambition to ensure that all 2 million young people eligible for free school meals (FSM) in the UK can have the same opportunities as their peers.
We also hear directly from young people, employers and supporters about the impact our work has had on them and celebrate our 10th anniversary, as we look back on a decade of transforming young people’s lives, and commit to being bigger, better and bolder in our actions across the next year and beyond.
Hear about our highlights and future goals from our CEO, Lynne Peabody:
[…] EY Foundation gave me my first taste of what working in the Civil Service could be like, and I haven't looked back since, unless to help pave the way forward for those to come.
Every year we get to work with inspiring young people who always make us think about some aspect of our organisation and our customer experience in a new and insightful way.
I am extremely proud to reflect on a decade of collaboration with EY Foundation, supporting young people from a low-income background to thrive in the workplace. At EY, we believe in leading with purpose and making a positive impact and the EY Foundation sits at the heart of this, putting our vision of creating transformative change into action. Looking forward, EY is committed to continuing to play a part in driving social mobility and impacting the lives of thousands more young people, through advocating, volunteering, fundraising, and promoting the EY Foundation's work with our network of clients and partners.
The EY Foundation today offers more programmes and support for young people than in 2014, but the impact it has on their lives has grown too. To continue to volunteer and support the EY Foundation is one of the highlights of my year – I’d recommend to anyone to get involved.
