Head to the Sierra Nevada National Park and trek across Spain’s highest peaks. This exhilarating trek not only offers you the chance to connect with nature and experience unbeatable views but take on an epic physical challenge to fundraise for the EY Foundation. Immerse yourself in Spanish culture and beauty with like-minded fundraisers to raise vital funds to run programmes that empower young people from low-income backgrounds.
EY Foundation is running this trek in partnership with highly experienced adventure tourism company Global Adventure Challenges (GAC), who facilitated our 2024 Angkor Wat trek and our 2026 trek to Mount Toubkal. They have over 20 years of experience, lots of high-profile clients and have run this trek on several occasions.
The challenge will see you starting in the Sierra Nevada National Park, trekking through the rocky terrains and beautiful landscapes to the Veleta, Pico de Loma and Mulhacén peaks over three days. You will be led by experienced local guides, a Global Adventure Challenges Leader and a UK-based doctor - so know you are in safe hands.
As you complete the trek, know all of your hard work has paid off and that you ‘ve helped young people from low-income backgrounds reach their full potential in the workplace. There will also be a meal to celebrate your achievement in the evening after the trek has been completed!
Mount Toubkal almost conquered me with hazardous conditions, gruelling heat and exhaustion but with the support of my amazing EY trekkers, we did it! Exciting to raise money for young people, meet new people and style out my new trekking kit
For me personally, this was an absolutely transformative experience and enabled me to meet some utterly incredible people (both within and outside of EY). The EY Foundation do such amazing work and were so helpful in helping me with my fundraising efforts. I am honoured to have been able to participate in such efforts for such a fantastic organisation and will endeavour to continue supporting their cause. 10/10 experience – go and sign up NOW!
16-20 June 2027, departing from a London airport to head to Spain. The actual trek takes place over 3 days and will cover approximately 38km.
Flights will be departing from London and flying to Spain. Participants will set off from Sierra Nevada National Park.

We require each fundraiser to reach a target of £1,500. Participants will need to acknowledge their commitment to raising this before the challenge takes place.
And great news! EY employees are now eligible to obtain *matched funding for their EY Foundation fundraising. This means that for every pound you raise, EY will match it, doubling the impact of your efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity to improve your contributions and support the important work we do together. The fundraising team will notify you on how to do this and how to create your fundraising page upon signing up and will help you along your fundraising journey.
*Please note that you can claim a maximum of £500 in matched funding as an individual within a financial year, and up to £1,000 as a team during the same period. The matched funding should be used in addition to you reaching your £1,500 target.
Registration fee: £199 (non-refundable)
