Get muddy for the EY Foundation in 2026!
What is it?
The Mud Trial is an action-packed assault course set over 5k of beautiful farmland in Brentwood Essex. This year, you will set off in groups led by Nuclear Races staff that will be your own personal hype squad to help push and motivate you at each obstacle, aiming to help you complete the course in 90 minutes! But don’t worry, managing to cross the finish line when you do will be a big achievement, and will be celebrated with a complementary drink* from the EY Foundation!
When?
The event will take place on Thursday 2nd July 2026.
Where?
Nuclear Races, Parsonage Farm, Kelvedon Hatch, Brentwood Essex CM15 0LA. This is just down the road from the previous Mud Trial site!
Race start time - 11:30am.
Limited coach seats from 1MLP and 25CP EY offices will be available to buy in Spring 2026. Keep your eyes peeled then for the link to purchase one of these limited seats - it will be sent via the Enthuse fundraising platform. You will need to have created an Enthuse fundraising page using the link provided in your Nuclear Races confirmation email, in order to receive event info. There will also be plenty of parking if you decide to drive to the venue.
How much do I need to raise?
Each participant has a to reach a £75 minimum fundraising target. EY employees will also be able to claim matched-funding too!
Details on how to fundraise via Enthuse will be sent to you in your booking confirmation.
Please note: this sum stays the same for each individual even when fundraising as part of a team. I.E., if there are 6 team members your team target would be £450.
Cost?
£49.20 per person (including VAT) - you can use your EY Spend account to take part!

COMPETITION TIME:
Participants number 100 and 101 will win their tickets! Winning participants 100 and 101 will be notified via email from mudtrial@eyfoundation.ey.com and refunded the price of their ticket by Nuclear Races.
* One free drink per participant. A glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink to those who have reached their £75 fundraising target. The value of the alcohol is not part of the fees/ticket price.
